GP Registrars
We are now a GP training practice and you may be seen by a GP registrar. They are fully qualified hospital Doctors, that have 3-4 years experience, and are with us from six to twelve months to help gain experience furthering their career as a GP. We are also joined by students who may be present during your consultation with the doctor. To help them in their career they may, with your permission examine you but have no influence over your diagnosis.
Nursing Students
Nursing students have placements at the practice usually, for around 6 weeks whilst they gain knowledge about primary care and general practice. All nursing students are supervised by one of our practice nurses and will sometimes ask patients if you consent to students sitting in your consultation.
